Christ Chapel is a little white church in Galveston’s historic east
end neighborhood located one block from the strand district. It is
a privately owned historic renovation and is available to rent for
events. It makes a beautiful wedding chapel and is also a favorite
spot for vow renewal or memorial ceremonies. The chapel was built
in 1925 and is also known as The Swedish Church having been founded
by Swedish Immigrants. This Galveston chapel is intimate and beautiful,
rich in atmosphere with gothic stained & painted glass windows,
wood pews and intricately carved altar. It is a Christian church, not
associated with a denomination or traditional congregation.

Fees: $400 for 3 hours, $200 refundable security deposit.
